He is a partner in the firm. He holds an LLB [Hons] Degree from the University of Zimbabwe and was admitted to practice law in Zimbabwe in 2000. He is a conveyancer and Notary Public. He has vast experience in Corporate and Labour Law. He has handled among others, applications for judicial management and advises on investment laws in Zimbabwe.
He was a part-time lecturer of Commercial Law I and II at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe. He is a member of the Advisory Board of ZNNP+. Charles has experience in corporate governance, labour law, commercial and corporate law. He is a member of the board of the Audit Office Commission appointed as such in terms of the Audit Office Commission Act.
Trust Maanda is a partner in the legal firm. He holds an LLB [Hons] Degree from the University of Zimbabwe and was admitted to practice law in Zimbabwe in 2000. He is a Conveyancer and Notary Public. Trust is also involved in Human Rights work with a number of human rights organisations. He is a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe. He does civil and human rights litigation. He handles a lot of criminal litigation and has a special bias and interest in constitutional law. He has handled electoral petitions and election related litigation.
Passmore Nyakureba holds a Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. He was admitted as a partner in January 2014. He is based at the Mutare Office. He also holds an International Certificate in International Humanitarian Law offered by International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Nairobi Regional delegation. He has a passion in human rights litigation, Commercial and labour law.
Passmore is a member of The Law Society of Zimbabwe and Manicaland Legal Practitioners Association.
Tapiwanashe is a consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zimbabwe where he graduated in 1992. He commenced practice as a prosecutor. He moved to private practice. He worked for three large law firms where he did a lot of work in debt collection, corporate work, civil and criminal litigation as well as human rights cases.
He works on access to treatment, and has done work with a number of regional and international institutions. He is currently the vice-Chair of the SADC Parliamentary Advisory Committee where he is the focal person on the implementation of TRIPS flexibilities in the region. He is also implementing a national project aimed at the reform of intellectual property legislation in Zimbabwe.
In addition to its partners the firm also has two professional associates who are qualified legal practitioners.
Wilson holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree with UNISA and an MBA. He commenced his work career with a large parastatal where he worked in administration and marketing. He also worked for a newspaper group and a commercial company before joining the firm in 2011.
Wilson does a lot of labour law and commercial debt collections. He is a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe.
Tinotenda Jakazi holds an LLB Hons from Rhodes University. He joined Maunga Maanda & Associates in July 2014. He is interested and works in commercial law. Also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies and International Relations from Rhodes University.
